As Ayvalık Sailing Academy, we offer two special routes for sailing enthusiasts suitable for different experience levels: Route Koyiçi and Route Açıkdeniz.

Located in the triangle of Rota Koyiçi, Ayvalık, Alibey Island (Cunda) and Tımarhane Island, it offers training opportunities in a sea area of approximately 6.5 km² with a perimeter of 11 nautical miles. This protected area provides a safe and controlled environment especially for beginners. While receiving basic sailing training here, you will have the chance to feel the wind and gain boat control accompanied by the unique nature of Ayvalık.

The Open Sea Route, which we offer for more advanced sailors and corporate teams, covers a wide sailing area extending from the Ayvalık Strait to Ortunç, Çıplak Island, Maden Island and the Greek Island of Lesbos in the Gulf of Edremit. With a circumference of 25 nautical miles and an area of approximately 65 km², this area is ideal for those who want to experience advanced and open sea sailing. With stronger winds, open sea sailing and long-distance routes, you can take your sailing skills to the next level.

While our beginner training is carried out on the inland route, some of our advanced and corporate training is offered on the open sea route. Both of our routes are shaped by Ayvalık's unique nature, endless winds and a spirit of discovery intertwined with the sea.
